in Copenhagen

Are you a passionate Copenhagener with a flair for storytelling?
We’re looking for enthusiastic freelance guides to lead cultural and historical walking tours in Copenhagen – always with a twinkle in the eye and a personal touch.

Who are we?
Go Like a Local is a new initiative creating unique and authentic experiences in Copenhagen. At the same time, we’re building a growing community for internationals, where we host social gatherings and cultural experiences. Our guides are a key part of this journey.

We’ll soon expand to other locations around Copenhagen – including Malmö, Helsingør, Helsingborg, and more in the future – so there may also be opportunities to guide in those cities.

Who are you?

• You were either born and raised in Copenhagen or have lived here for many years.
• You love the city and its history – and you’re able to bring it to life in an engaging and entertaining way.
• You speak fluent English – and ideally another language (German, Spanish, or similar).
• You have experience as a guide, storyteller, or communicator – ideally with guide certification.
• You’re between 30–60 years old and enjoy meeting new people.
• You’re looking for a flexible freelance role with payment per tour.

What do we offer?

• The chance to lead exciting and original tours in Copenhagen – and soon Malmö, Helsingør, Helsingborg, and more.
• Flexible freelance work – you decide how much you want to work.
• A strong sense of community: We have a base on Blågårdsgade where guides and community members meet.
• Social meetups and events – including group museum visits, test tours, and scouting missions.
• If you don’t have your own business setup, you can invoice us easily through Factofly.
